Project Description

Originally from Campo Mourão, Fran moved to São Paulo in 2014. In 2011, she got her professional license as an actress, after four years of formation at Pé no Palco, of Fátima Ortiz, in the city of Curitiba. In 2011, she also graduated in Biology at the Federal University of Paraná, through which she went on an exchange program to study Theater and Cinema at Université Lumière Lyon II, for a semester. In 2012, she staged “Satyricon Delírio”, directed by Edson Bueno, and “A Hora da Estrela”, directed by Vanessa Corina and Alexandre Bonin. In 2013, she participated in the Staging Nucleus of SESI-PR, and staged “Frenesi”, a play directed by Raquel Shaedler, under the guidance of Roberto Alvim. In 2014, she integrated the Nucleus of Experimental Performing Arts of the same institution, a space of development for professional actors. The actress has also studied at the Dramaturgy Nucleus of SESI-PR and taken courses in Cinema (acting and screenwriting through the Olho Vivo Project – coordinated by Marcelo Munhoz and Luciano Coelho – and filmmaking at Centro Europeu – coordinated by Fernando Severo). In cinema, she has acted in a few short films: “Broken”, by Caroline Biagi [7th Short 8 – International Super8 Film Festival (2011) | FEMINA –  International Women’s Film Festival (2012) | Mostra Outros Cinemas (2012)], “Sobrenatural”, by Alexandre Rafael [Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival – Curta Cinema (2012) | Curta Taquary – 5 th National Festival of Short Film (2012)] and “The undivided home”, by Nathália Tereza [4th Curitiba Int’l Film Festival | 22nd Annual Vitoria Film Festival]. Today, she is a member of Cia. Alóctone.
