Maria Tuca Fanchin

Professionalized in 1999, at Curitiba, where she was awarded for two consecutive years Best Actress with the Prize “Governador do Estado” and the Prize “Potty Lazzarotto”. In 2008 she graduated at EAD in São Paulo. She starred in more than 30 plays, with several directors. Founder of “lasnoias & cia”, where she worked and produced “Lesão Cerebral” for which she received the Best Actress Award at FestCal, “Há um crocodilo dentro de mim” and“Não vejo Moscou da janela do meu quarto” (Shell Award 2014 – Direction and Lighting). For television, guest starred in the series “Agora sim” at the Sony Channel, “Copa do Caos” at MTV, “Vida de estagiário” at Warner Channel and “O Negócio” at HBO.

In cinema, her main work is “Arthur e o infinito”, (Best Actress Award at the 4˚ Filmworks Film Festival). She also acted in several short films: “Detetive”by William Mur, “Gosto de morango” by Igor Garbin, “Ansa” by Gustavo Talaini, “Cantando sobre Ossos” by Paula Rebellato, “Morcego de Rua” by Ricardo D’Albuquerque. She also participated at “A Grávida da Cinemateca” by Christian Saghaard,  feature film to be released in 2016.
